We were asked by one of our viewers the specifics of fireproofing for a legal duplex, so since we were at the framing stage we decided to make this video to explain a few things. Now each city’s rules are different when it comes to things like fireproofing , so these particular steps apply to units in Hamilton only. Be aware of this and consult with your contractor before and during the renovation to make sure you meet your city’s code.
